Our Services
We work closely with corporate clients to analyze their needs, customize our system to
specific applications, and collaborate with their engineering teams to integrate our
technology into their products and networks.
Integration into a cell phone or other such device requires incorporation of an RFIC a
few millimeters-square. Alternatively, the circuitry and firmware aboard the RFIC can
be integrated onto the same silicon used by the chip set of the phone or other mobile
device. It provides centimeter-level radiolocation accuracy as well as cell phone range
extension via mesh networking.
The reach of cell phone towers using existing technology is typically 3 km and if using
older technology it is a maximum of 10 km. Where a mobile device is not within reach
of a base station, but is within reach of another mobile device which does have a link to
a tower, it is connected through the latter, thus extending the range of coverage without
installation of new towers.
In other applications we help customers use mobiles with the same form factor noted,
as stand-alones, to provide sensory data and position data from remote locations
where no cell tower can reach, or provide accurate position information. The low BOM
cost for independent mobiles with their own battery makes it affordable.
The mobiles are maintenance-free and weather-proof whether cell phone mounted or
as stand-alone.
